Woodland View

University Hospital Ayr

In the Spring of 2016 many of NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s inpatient mental health facilities moved into a new purpose built Community Hospital (Woodland View) on the Ayrshire Central Hospital site. Mental health wards that moved to Woodland View included the majority of adult inpatient wards at Ailsa and the two Mental Health wards that were previously at University Hospital in Kilmarnock. Woodland View is a 206-bedroom integrated mental health facility and community hospital which brings together a full range of outpatient and inpatient facilities.
