AA 23 Winners

More than 100 members of NHS Ayrshire & Arran staff, volunteers and members of the public gathered on Thursday 1 June 2023 to support the 24 finalists for this year’s Ayrshire Achieves awards.

Through the awards, local people – and other NHS staff – had the chance to recognise the contribution of health workers and volunteers who have gone the extra mile.

Claire Burden, Chief Executive explained: “I would like to thank all those who came along to support their friends and colleagues.

“It has been four years since our last awards, and so it was great to see so many staff, volunteers and members of the public celebrating all that is great about the NHS. There was a real buzz about the place.

“Our guests were entertained by the fantastic NHS Ayrshire & Arran staff choir, and our raffle also raised a fantastic £657 for Crosshouse Children’s Fund. For the first time this year, we live-streamed the event on YouTube. So, if you weren’t able to attend the event, you can still catch the highlights on our YouTube channel.”
