Spiritual Care Team

Spiritual Care is a fundamental aspect of person-centred healthcare and supports the inner person, spirit, soul; your deeper self.

Our Healthcare Chaplains can help you understand and cope with the health challenges that you and your loved ones are facing.

Healthcare Chaplains will allow space for questions and concerns around personal meaning, purpose, hope and faith, as we encounter change, transition and loss.

If you have recently lost a loved one then our spiritual care team are available to support and advise you during this difficult and painful time. Our team is committed to offering an empathic presence to patients, staff, relatives and carers of all faiths and none.

Our sanctuary spaces at University Hospital Ayr, University Hospital Crosshouse and Woodland View are open at all times should you require a quiet space for reflection or prayer.
