Referrals to the pain management service can only be made by General Practitioners (GP’s), Hospital based Consultants/Doctors and Allied Health Professionals located in NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
- Referrals from GP’s should be made via an electronic referral through the SCI gateway system.
- Referrals for hospital based Consultants/Doctors should be made by the electronic referral system and sent to the pain management service
- Referrals from Allied Health Professionals (AHP’s) should be generated from the AHP referral form and sent to the pain management Physiotherapists
