Immunisations during pregnancy

During pregnancy women are offered seasonal flu vaccination (Oct-March) as well as the Pertussis vaccination from 16 weeks of pregnancy onwards to protect both mother and baby from whooping cough.  These vaccinations are routinely offered to all pregnant women through Maternity Services at their booking appointment and 20 week scan.  If you think you may have missed either vaccine please speak to your midwife.
