Health & Social Care Workers in Ayrshire
Health & Social Care Workers (H&SCWs) are eligible for a seasonal flu vaccination this winter.
Frontline (patient-facing) H&SCWs are also eligible for a COVID-19 booster vaccination.
If you are a H&SCW in Ayrshire, please look out for information on the winter vaccine programme via internal email or ask your line manager.
Your pathway to vaccination may be as follows:
- a Public Health Team vaccine clinic at your place of work (for example, if you work at an acute hospital), or
- a Mass Vaccination Centre (for example if you work in Care at Home, in a Care Home, in social work in a face to face role, in a GP or dental practice, in Optometry or in Community Pharmacy), or
- by peer vaccination, if offered in your area of work.
