Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity is an umbrella term for conditions like:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
It means that some people think, learn and process information differently. These people are neurodivergent and their brains work differently from the average or neurotypical person.
A Speech and Language Therapist will assess, identify and provide support for any speech, language and communication difficulties.
