Serial prescribing

Do you take the same medication regularly? Serial prescribing could make your life a whole lot easier.

Serial prescribing is for people with long term conditions who take the same medication regularly.

Instead of ordering each month, your GP issues a long term serial prescription that lasts for one year and then sends it to your pharmacy. Then, at set times, often every 8 weeks, your pharmacy prepares it for you to collect. Simple, safe and stress free.

Speak to your GP practice team and find out if serial prescribing is right for you.
