NHS Ayrshire & Arran annual review – there’s still time to submit your question

  • by NHSAAA

NHS Ayrshire & Arran invites members of the public to attend its Annual Review on Thursday 13 November 2025, taking place in Common Rooms 1 and 2, Macdonald Education Centre, University Hospital Ayr. The doors open at 9.45am, with the session starting at 10am. The session will last approximately 90 minutes.

This is an opportunity for members of the public to hear directly from the Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board about performance over the past year.

Those attending can also submit questions in advance to the Board Chair and Chief Executive. Your questions help shape the conversation and ensure the session reflects what matters most to our communities.

Please ensure you submit any questions by 12 noon, Friday 17 October, by emailing aa.planningteam@aapct.scot.nhs.uk

We will try to answer all questions during the session. However, in the event that we run out of time and don’t get to your question, we will provide a written response within eight weeks. Please note that it will not be possible to answer questions about specific patient cases.

Professor Gordon James said: “This will be my first Annual Review in NHS Ayrshire & Arran, and I’m looking forward to sharing how we’re investing in services and delivering for the communities we serve.

“While this year’s session isn’t ministerial, we’re keen to hear from the public and provide updates on our performance.”

To help us prepare, please book your place in advance and let us know if you have any accessibility needs or special requirements.

To book your place, please email aa.planningteam@aapct.scot.nhs.uk before 5pm on Thursday 6 November.

The session will be recorded and uploaded to our website shortly after the event.
