Join us for our annual review

  • by Miriam Porte

NHS Ayrshire & Arran warmly invites members of the public to attend our Annual Review, taking place on Thursday 13 November 2025 in Common Rooms 1 and 2, Macdonald Education Centre, University Hospital Ayr.

Doors will open at 9.45am, with the session beginning promptly at 10am and will last no more than 90 minutes.

Members of the public will be able to hear directly from the Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board about our performance over the past year. Those attending have the opportunity to submit questions in advance to our Board Chair and Chief Executive.

We will try to answer all questions during the session. However, in the event that we run out of time and don’t get to your question, we will provide a written response within eight weeks. Please note that it will not be possible to answer questions about specific patient cases.

Professor Gordon James, Chief Executive, explains: “This will be my first annual review in NHS Ayrshire & Arran, and I am looking forward to showing how we are investing in services and delivering for the communities we serve.

“While this year’s session isn’t ministerial, we are keen to hear from the public and share updates on our performance.”

To help us plan, please book your place in advance. Let us know if you have any accessibility needs or special requirements.

The session will be recorded and uploaded to our website shortly after the event.
