Be part of our Annual Review

There’s still time to book your place or ask a question

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is inviting members of the public to attend its Annual Review on Monday 7 December 2026 in the Alexander Fleming Education Centre, University Hospital Crosshouse.

This year, Alison Thewliss MSP, Minister for Community Care, will attend the review from Scottish Government. The Annual Review is an opportunity to hear directly from the Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board about the organisation’s performance over the past year and our priorities for the future.

Doors will open at 1.45pm, with the session beginning promptly at 2pm. The event will finish at 3pm. Members of the public can join in person or listen in via MS Teams.

Members of the public are also encouraged to submit questions in advance for the Board Chair and Chief Executive. Your questions help shape the discussion and ensure the session focuses on the issues that matter most to local communities.

Questions should be submitted by Monday 2 November 2026by emailing aa.planningteam@aapct.scot.nhs.uk.

We will do our best to answer all questions during the session. If time does not allow, a written response will be provided within eight weeks of the Annual Review. Please note that we cannot respond to questions about individual patient cases.

Lesley Bowie, Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board, said: “I am looking forward to welcoming members of the public to this year’s Annual Review and sharing how we are investing in services and delivering for the communities we serve.

“The Annual Review provides an important opportunity to reflect on our progress, discuss our priorities and hear directly from the people who use and support our services.”

To help us plan for the event, please book your place in advance and let us know if you have any accessibility needs or special requirements.

To book your place or to submit your question, please email aa.planningteam@aapct.scot.nhs.uk by Monday 2 November 2026. Let us know if you’d like to attend in person, or if you would like to join online via MS Teams.
