NHS Ayrshire & Arran warmly invites members of the public to attend our Annual Review, taking place on Monday 7 December 2026 in the Alexander Fleming Education Centre, University Hospital Crosshouse. This year, Alison Thewliss MSP, Minister for Community Care, will attend the review from Scottish Government.
Doors will open at 1.45pm, with the session beginning promptly at 2pm. The event will finish at 3pm.
Members of the public can join in person or listen in via MS Teams.
The Annual Review is an opportunity to hear directly from the Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board about our performance over the past year and our priorities for the future. Members of the public are also invited to submit questions in advance for the Board Chair and Chief Executive.
We will do our best to answer all questions during the session. If time does not allow, we will provide a written response within eight weeks. Please note that we cannot answer questions relating to individual patient cases.
As part of the Review, the Minister will also meet with a group of patients/carers to provide them with an opportunity to share their views and ask questions based on their direct experience of NHS Ayrshire & Arran. If you would like to take part in the Patient and Carer Meeting, visit https://www.nhsaaa.net/annualreview2026/ and complete the form by Monday 2 November 2026.
Lesley Bowie, Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Boarsd, said: “I am looking forward to welcoming Alison Thewliss MSP and colleagues from Scottish Government, along with members of the public, to this year’s Annual Review and sharing how we are investing in services and delivering for the communities we serve.
