A diagnosis of epilepsy can be worrying for you, your family or your carers.

Our Epilepsy Specialist Nurse is here to offer support and advice at the time of diagnosis and throughout your ongoing care. The Epilepsy Specialist Nurse can provide guidance on all aspects of epilepsy care, including support for people who are newly diagnosed.

This includes:

  • advice and support
  • seizure monitoring
  • medication monitoring
  • preconception counselling
  • pregnancy and epilepsy
  • self-management
  • education and training for families, carers and healthcare professionals
  • rescue medication plans and training
