We are aware of proposed industrial action by a major public transport provider (Stagecoach) on Monday 26 May, Monday 2 June and Friday 6 June. Discussions are ongoing and this action may yet be resolved. However, we want to ensure all patients and members of the public are informed regarding arrangements for appointments at clinical consultations or investigations in the event of not being able to travel by Stagecoach bus if the strike goes ahead. For more information, visit www.stagecoachbus.com and click service updates.
Health Services will not be cancelled – we will plan around the disruption. Outpatient appointments will continue. Please consider obtaining a lift or securing alternative transport to and from your appointment. Where travel becomes difficult for patients, you can contact the relevant department (direct dial telephone numbers listed below) to discuss alternative arrangements which may include telephone or NHS Near Me consultations or rescheduling your consultation to an alternative date.
