People affected by long-term pain commonly say that they don’t understand why their pain hasn’t gone away or why it behaves the way it does. Many have also been given conflicting advice on the role of scans, surgeries or other tests and treatments. The Flippin’ PainTM campaign and its events help people to understand these things better.

“Why Re-thinking Pain really matters?” National Webinar Series run in collaboration with Flippin’ Pain and Scottish Government and NHS Scotland. “Why Rethinking Pain really matters” is a series of three webinars in February and March 2022 delivered by Flippin’ PainTM.
Each webinar includes an easy to understand overview of the science of pain (why it occurs, why it sometimes doesn’t go away, and things that can influence it) followed by an opportunity for the audience to ask questions of a guest panel including local people living with persistent pain and specialist health professionals.
