Professor Robert Masterton
Professor Robert Masterton is our Executive Medical Director and
Professor at the Institute of Healthcare Associated Infection at
the University of the West ofScotland. A Consultant
Microbiologist, Professor Masterton has a very broad
background of healthcare delivery experience, having worked
clinically as a GP and hospital specialist as well as more recently
in senior general and medical management roles in the NHS. He is
committed to informed engagement with patients and the public.
