Mrs Janet McKay
Mrs Janet McKay is chair of the Area Clinical Forum, the
professional committee which comprises representatives from all the
health professions in Ayrshire and Arran. These range from
dentistry and general practice to nursing and midwifery, optometry,
pharmacy and psychology. Mrs McKay is a consultant nurse based with
the cardiac rehabilitation team at Crosshouse Hospital.
Ms McKay's work as part of the cardiac liaison team has been
instrumental in the development of cardiac rehabilitation and heart
failure services in Ayrshire andArranand she is currently
developing palliative care services and advanced nurse practice in
outpatient settings.
