Mr Stephen McKenzie
Mr Stephen
McKenzie was head
of children's services with Renfrewshire Council until 2010. Before
this he was a head teacher, senior inspector of education and
principal officer in strategic planning and quality assurance. He
served on many national advisory bodies, currently working with
those involved in education processes, as well as running his own
voluntary consultancy. Mr McKenzie will bring to the board his
strong interest and expertise in services for children and young
people, which he will use to support the work of the health board.
Mr McKenzie is a Member of the Scottish Qualifications Authority
Advisory Council for which he receives expenses only. Mr
McKenzie is Chair of NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Information
Governance Committee.
