Mr Derek Lindsay
Derek Lindsay is Executive Director of Finance and has held that
post for 16 years, initially in Dumfries and Galloway and for the
last 13 years in Ayrshire and Arran. He is a chartered
accountant with around 20 years' experience of working in the
health service. He has also worked as an accountant in
professional practice and in industry. He chairs the Scottish NHS
Pensions Group as well as a national group taking forward shared
financial services. Derek is involved in church organisations
including Gideons International and is a director of Broken Chains
(Ayr) Ltd. which is a charity which helps the homeless and people
with drink or drug addiction.
