Dr Carol Davidson
Dr Carol Davidson, is Executive Director of Public Health. She
worked in a variety of clinical roles in the UK, in hospital and
general practice before completing her specialist training in
public health medicine in 1989. She worked as a Consultant in
Public Health Medicine in England and Ayrshire before being
appointed as Director of Public Health in 2001.
Dr Davidson leads NHS Ayrshire & Arran's efforts to protect
and improve health and is committed to trying to reduce health
inequalities.
