Neurology

Neurology deals with disorders of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. These can be conditions which are managed almost entirely in the community (such as epilepsy and migraine), acute neurological emergencies (such as stroke and meningitis) and chronic disabling conditions (such as dementia, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease).
