Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) who work with children work in many different locations across Ayrshire and Arran including schools, early childhood centres, hospitals, clinics and health centres.
We can receive a request for assistance from any concerned individual. This may be a parent, carer, early year’s practitioner, teacher, health visitor or doctor.

When we receive a request for assistance, it will be reviewed by an SLT who may seek further information as part of this initial conversation to identify the appropriate next steps.
